I have been tutoring for 9+ years now, having accumulated over 7,000 hours of tutoring experience across over 250 students. Over the years, I have helped students improve by up to 3 grades (C--> A*). On average, 92% of students will improve by at least one grade with 76% of them going up two grades from their predicted grades. I have developed profound insight into the topics that are commonly found to be difficult as well as having developed systems that have been proven to enhance grades under the strict time pressure of exams.

This is the first time I am putting my profile on platforms again after 4 years because the high quality of tuition that I deliver has allowed me to receive tuition requests consistently through referrals from satisfied parents.

Before starting tutoring endeavors with any student, I have them complete a diagnostic assessment to gauge their current understanding of the subject and how they best retain information. I then adapt my style of teaching in an engaging manner to ensure the student develops an interest in the subject. A personalised curriculum is organised to suit the student's learning needs and periodic tests are arranged to track progress.

If I had to give three reasons for why my teaching style is so effective, I'd have to say it's enthusiasm, enthusiasm, enthusiasm. I deeply enjoy the subjects I teach and as a result, I teach it in the way I would like the subject to have been introduced to me: through real-life applications and intuitive links to what we already know is true. By methodically helping students derive conclusions from first principles, I have enabled hundreds of students to integrate information from topic to topic and make learning a truly gratifying experience. I believe that knowledge is a life-enriching asset that enables us to process the world around us and understand the principles that govern it. So why not start with the aim in mind?
