I offer one to one online sessions via Zoom or Google Meet, typically lasting 45 to 60 minutes depending on the child’s age and concentration levels. All sessions are conducted in a safe, supportive and encouraging virtual environment where every child feels comfortable to ask questions without fear of judgement.
My teaching approach is patient, interactive and completely tailored to each child’s individual needs, learning style and current school curriculum. I begin every new student relationship with an initial assessment to identify their strengths, areas for improvement and any learning gaps that need addressing. This allows me to create a personalised learning plan that moves at the right pace for each child.
I use a variety of teaching methods to keep sessions engaging and effective including visual aids, real life examples, interactive problem solving and step by step explanations. I believe that when children understand the reasoning behind mathematical concepts rather than just memorising methods, their confidence and ability grows significantly.
Each session ends with tailored practice exercises and homework to reinforce what has been covered. I provide regular progress updates to parents so they are always informed of their child’s development and achievements.
My goal is not just to improve grades but to transform each child’s relationship with Maths turning anxiety and frustration into genuine confidence and enjoyment. I celebrate every small victory along the way because confidence is the foundation of all learning.
I look forward to supporting your child on their Maths journey.
