With early years pupils I have assisted in their grammar, spelling, reading and punctuation. I am able to teach and assist younger pupils in their phonics, especially in preparation for the Year 1 phonics screening, by practicing sounds and sharing with them content to assist in their retention. As a passionate reader I will recommend and share texts that will expand your child's fluency and ability.
Older children can present me with essays they have written in preparation for their exams. I can help them answer the questions accurately and construct paragraphs that meet the criteria for the highest grades. Having studied all of the GCSE syllabus texts including all of Shakespeare's plays over the course of my degree, I have a greater understanding.
I also took specialties in creative writing and can greater encourage imagination in younger children who are tasked with writing assignments.
