As a recent graduate myself, I understand the pressures and complexities of today's education system. That's exactly why I completed a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education, to sharpen my subject knowledge and develop my teaching practice.
I haven't always found education easy, and I struggled with my GCSEs. But I now see that as a real asset in my teaching, because relatability matters when it comes to learning. I know what it feels like to find things hard, and I know what actually helps.
At college and university, I went on to achieve the highest grade in my cohort, while also balancing an active social life, including serving as President of my university's Dance team and volunteering to teach at local primary schools. So I understand first-hand how to work hard and still make time for the things that matter.
My goal is to help you find that same balance: strong academic progress without it taking over your life, and the confidence to succeed on your own terms.
My teaching style is built around "Do and Discuss", a practical, conversational approach where we work through tasks together and talk through where your subject knowledge or application needs strengthening. From there, we build a plan that feels manageable, not overwhelming, because keeping a healthy work-life balance is central to how I teach.
If you've got a shorter attention span and work better with "little and often" rather than long stretches of study, I'd love to hear from you, my lessons are built with exactly that in mind: short, focused, and engaging, rather than long and draining.
