I excel at assisting kids in achieving high math marks so they can enrol in the university of their choice. I do this by concentrating on the underlying ideas of math concepts and utilise a lot of practise problems to solidify their understanding. I start with easier practise questions to make sure the fundamentals of how to read and solve a problem is understood, and then work my way up to more challenging ones. I also believe that after learning a new concept in mathematics, it just takes some practise to master, so I usually assign enough homework to encourage more practise. When making corrections, I walk students through the process of obtaining the correct solutions without confusion to obtain each of the method marks when asked to explain or in an exam.
