Minye Lian

My lessons are fun, interactive, and specially designed for young learners! I focus on learning through conversation, using simple topics like colors, animals, family, food, or daily routines—things children are already familiar with. This helps them feel comfortable and excited to speak Chinese from the very beginning.

I use pictures, songs, games, role play, and mini quizzes to make learning active and joyful. For example, we might play a guessing game using flashcards, sing a counting song, or act out a short dialogue about going to the market. I believe that learning should feel like play, especially for children!

If your child has a favorite topic—like dinosaurs, space, or cartoons—please let me know! I’ll prepare a lesson around that theme and present it in the most fun and engaging way possible.

I have experience working in international education settings in the UK, where I supported students from many different cultural backgrounds. I understand how to build confidence and keep young learners motivated.
