As a native Mandarin speaker with experience tutoring a diverse group of native English speakers in my university's language exchange program, I am committed to providing high-quality Mandarin language education to all my students. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs and goals.

I use different teaching methods and resources to keep my lessons dynamic and intriguing. Depending on each student's proficiency level and preferred learning style, I may incorporate conversational practice, vocabulary building, listening and reading comprehension activities, and writing practice. I also utilize authentic materials such as news articles, songs, and videos to expose my students to real-life Mandarin language and culture.

My teaching experience has taught me the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I strive to foster a positive and comfortable atmosphere in my lessons, where my students feel empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and actively participate in the learning process.

In terms of teaching format, I offer both one-on-one and group lessons, depending on the needs and preferences of my students. For one-on-one lessons, I provide personalized attention and guidance, while for group lessons, I encourage collaboration and teamwork among students.
As a certified CEFR C1 level on the IELTS exam, I am proficient in both Mandarin and English and can effectively communicate with my English-speaking students. My experience teaching a diverse group of native English speakers has also given me a deeper understanding of the challenges and nuances of Mandarin language learning for non-native speakers.
