My lessons are guided by the needs and experience of each individual. The session will always be focused on what the pupil wishes to work on, whether that’s an upcoming exam they require assistance to prepare for, or advice for combatting stress. I understand that needs can change, so each session will commence with a conversation surrounding what the student wishes to talk about or work on today. Lessons will be one-to-one and therefore entirely student-centred. I am able to work both in person and online and can be flexible. I have access to multiple Microsoft tools, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I have had plenty of experience in working with children in both primary and secondary environments so my style of teaching will vary based on this. I am patient and adaptable, enabling me to teach in a way that is best suited to the way in which my pupils learn and understand. My priority is always to help students overcome the barriers to their learning, whether these are academic, social or emotional. I have a varied knowledge of revision techniques and resources, both online and paper, for pupils struggling with upcoming exams and have previously aided numerous individuals in revising for their GCSE and A-Level exams. I am a positive and approachable person that is on hand to provide support at any time that is convenient for you.
