As an A*A*A student at A level, and a recently graduated First Class BA history student, I know how much hard work and motivation it takes to succeed, and I also know it can be difficult and stressful at the same time when there are high expectations to live up to. However, to overcome this often stress-full time, my aim is to encourage my students to be focused and prepared for their exams, so that no matter how big or small the exam is they will go into it with the confidence that they are able to achieve fantastic results!

Just a little bit about myself: I love sport and I play a lot of cricket and hockey in my spare time. Some of my other hobbies include singing, socialising with my friends, travelling and doing charity work. It's very important to me to have a good balance between work and my hobbies!

The structure for my lessons will be modelled according to each student and where they are currently at in terms of their work, which I will assess regularly. Each lesson will start with an overview of the week's topic, and from this I will go into further depth focusing on the knowledge and skills required to excel in the subject, and giving my student plenty of activities and questions to do as we go. I will then summarise, and end the lesson by giving the student some more practice questions for them to do in their own time, which we will go over the following lesson to ensure they understood them.

During my lessons, I will encourage my student to ask any questions they have (no question is a silly one), and I will also ensure that all my content is interactive and interesting so that the material will stick in their brains! I will also provide refreshers of previous lessons so that my students fully grasp the content that we are covering.
