My Approach
Every student is different, they learn in their own way and in their own time. I respond to the wishes of each student and guide them towards their own goals.
At each lesson I assess and suggest how much of what kind of work each student can do before the next lesson. I make sure that they are able and have enough time in their week to fit the work in. I know that a small amount of progress achieved regularly will build not only skills but also confidence.

Students
I teach students from 18 years old, who range from beginners to advanced. Some of my students may wish to take Trinity exams. I have successfuly helped students from Grade 1 to Grade 6.
Alternatively, some of my students prefer not to take grade exams and have ideas of their own about music they want to be able to play. I can help them clarify and structure their progress in achievable steps.
