Michelle Clarence

I am an educational specialist who has worked in South Africa and the U.K. over the past three decades.

My experience covers running various programs and courses in independent and state sectors, across schools and further education. I have worked as an examiner, a tutor, a lecturer, a teacher.

As a director of Theatretrain Wimbledon franchise , U.K. In South Africa “Creative Act” co ordinated various programmes in performing arts for children.

In South Africa, I founded the first Performing Arts and African Languages faculty for Trinity House Independent Schools, Johannesburg. I have worked as HOD Drama for various state and independent U.K. schools after immigrating from South Africa.

I continue my endeavour to teach and empower young minds through education with my own consultancy Vere Education based in the U.K.

Fundani , is an outreach program founded In 2023, enabling performing arts experiences for less privileged children . Additionally , we facilitated young children from South Africa’s Forgotten Angle Theatre Company (N.P.O.) an international Theatretrain experience at The Royal Albert Hall in 2023.

I look forward to continuing my career: facilitating entrance exams, teaching GCSE English and Drama and making performing arts experiences possible for children of all backgrounds where possible.
