Michelle Broussard

I hold two Bachelor's degrees—one in Fine Arts and another in Interior Design—complemented by certifications in Training and Assessment (TAE), Small Business, AutoCAD, and White Card training. This diverse educational foundation has equipped me with both creative vision and practical skills essential for success in the design industry.

Over the past 30 years, I have operated my own private interior design studio, leading residential and commercial projects with a focus on thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically compelling spaces. My work reflects a deep understanding of both artistic expression and the technical precision required for effective design.

In addition to running my design practice, I have built a rich teaching career, sharing my knowledge across a wide range of educational environments—from mainstream secondary schools and universities to the prison system. I believe in the power of education to inspire and transform, and I am passionate about creating inclusive, dynamic learning experiences that empower students of all backgrounds.

I currently serve on the Victorian Committee of the Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDi), contributing to the advancement of industry standards and mentoring emerging designers. I am also an active member of the Melbourne Designers Group (MDG), where I collaborate with fellow professionals to stay at the forefront of design innovation and industry trends.
