Having enjoyed the teaching of mathematics for more than a decade, and having pursued a related course at undergraduate level which highlight both its theoretical elegance and practical application. I am a passionate mathematics teacher with significant experience motivating students and promoting effective learning by setting task and challenging but attainable goals, proven track records of getting exceptional results by giving appropriate feedback, encouragement and assistance to students. Skilled at designing innovative and engaging teaching materials that engage students and lead to positive GCSE result.
I have shown myself to be a dedicated and capable student during my secondary days with a heavy focus on mathematical content at O-Level, including Pure and Applied Mathematics, Physic and Chemistry.
I have also demonstrated a commitment to education throughout my life, beginning with tutoring work in Applied and Pure Mathematics and Physics at various secondary school. I found that finding ways to communicate complex ideas to struggling pupils was not only extremely satisfying but also helped me to view mathematics from new and exciting angles. It is this experience that has driven me to devising different methodology such as project base learning, flipped classroom, personalized learning, inquiring learning, students and teachers centered approached as it allows me to both transmit and sustain my love of mathematics in a socially worthwhile career.
However, i am deeply committed in the shaping of young lives as well as minds. My communication and teamwork skills has helped me in creating good relationships with both pupils and colleagues.
