During my lessons I will always try and not focus on giving heaps of information. This will include a time split between explaining and going through content and solving questions. I will always try and make sure my student has a proactive role during the session and this may include encouraging students to take on questions and actually properly having go before I step in and assist when and if there are problems. I will also encourage students to use textbooks I used in school when preparing for my formal exams and attempt to use concepts from them when going through an example or teaching a particular topic. Finally, most importantly I will try give students insight into my reasoning and thought process when problem solving. I will always try to drop a harder question in to see how we can develop a strategic approach to the top end questions found at the end of formal exam questions.
