Hello! My name is Michael, and I’m from the United States, currently living in San Angelo, Texas.
Before beginning my journey as an ESL tutor, I served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force, where I worked extensively as a trainer and instructor. Outside of teaching, I enjoy hunting, fishing, cooking, traveling, and staying physically active.

I am an English tutor with experience teaching both online and in person. I am TEFL certified and also a certified U.S. Air Force trainer, with a professional background in emergency medical care and law-enforcement techniques. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Alternative and Renewable Energy Management, which allows me to support students with academic English, technical vocabulary, and professional communication. My lessons are always tailored to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style.

My teaching specialties include General English, Conversational Fluency, English Composition, Business English, and Exam Preparation. I have worked with students from Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia, helping learners of all levels build confidence and real-world communication skills.

I am a friendly, patient, and empathetic tutor. My classes are highly conversational, interactive, and engaging, with a focus on real communication. My teaching approach is approximately 80% speaking and 20% theory, which helps students gain fluency faster and more naturally. I have helped hundreds of students improve their English through thousands of lessons.
