My lessons provide students with an engaging and supportive learning environment to unlock their potential in technology skills and concepts. With over 7 years of software engineering experience and 3 years in teaching STEM subjects such as coding and computer science fundamentals, I utilize a systematic approach focused on actively empowering learners.

My lessons start with assessing students' existing knowledge to meet them at their level. I present new material in small, scaffold steps using visual aids, relatable examples, and hands-on coding activities tailored to diverse learning styles. I guide students through initial practice problems until I can gauge their comprehension. Through repetition, gradually increased difficulty, and real-world applications, I help instill mastery, understanding and knowledge.

I encourage questions and collaborate with students to uncover and fill knowledge gaps. I provide frequent positive reinforcement on incremental wins to cultivate confidence and growth mindsets. While maintaining high expectations, my lessons emphasize the joy of discovery rather than just lecturing concepts. My focus is always on quality education.

My experience spanning both the classroom and industry gives me unique insight into making connections between technical theory and practical application. Students appreciate my patience, passion for the subjects, clarity explaining complex topics in intuitive ways and deep desire for the growth and success of my students. I aim for an inclusive, engaging, and comfortable learning environment where students are unafraid to take risks and learn from mistakes.
