My Lessons:
I provide online learning support lessons for children and young people, including those with SEND or who need extra guidance with confidence, focus, or understanding new concepts. My lessons are structured, calm, and patient, with a focus on making learning manageable, engaging, and enjoyable. I break tasks into small steps, adapt explanations to suit each student’s learning style, and encourage active participation. My aim is to build confidence, independence, and understanding while creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and develop their skills at their own pace.

Experience & Qualifications:
I have experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school, supporting students both one-to-one and in small groups. I have helped students with a wide range of needs, including SEND, anxiety, and difficulties with focus or understanding new topics. This experience has developed my patience, flexibility, and ability to tailor lessons to individual requirements. I am comfortable using online platforms to deliver lessons effectively and make them interactive and engaging.

Teaching Methods:
I use a student-centred approach, focusing on each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement. I combine clear instructions, repetition when necessary, and positive reinforcement to ensure students feel confident and motivated. Lessons include interactive activities, discussion, and regular checks for understanding, with content and pace adapted to each student. I also aim to build not just academic skills but confidence, self-motivation, and independent learning strategies that students can carry beyond our sessions. My goal is to create lessons that are structured yet flexible, challenging yet supportive, so that each student can make meaningful progress in a safe and encouraging online environment.
