I believe teaching is different for every student. Some individual are visual learners with the use of PowerPoints and videos. Others may prefer more hands on activities like workshops. I am eager to explore all dynamics of lessons types to make your experience with English as beneficial as possible! Whether you use me for English speaking skills and progression or for English Lang/lit support, I will provide a safe and engaging space where no advice or question is considered ‘silly’ or ignored, creating the perfect chance for your creativity and skills to excel. English is a subject where the answer is rarely incorrect, it’s all about evidence and explanation. The key is to provide varied punctuation and always spell check! Show off your knowledge :) I will provide step by step instructions on how to highlight your points, introduce your evidence and further your explanation in order to achieve those top marks and grades. To begin with it is important we are confident in our basic skills of the English language before we start exploring more complex techniques. I’ll go through the foundation of the English language, looking through sentence structures, word types etc… in order for you to discover your own writing style. For those looking for advancement in their writing and speaking, I can also create tasks to help improve your dialogue, making it fun by throwing in some English traditions and slang in lessons!
