I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and went on to study A-Level Maths, where I’m currently predicted an A*, alongside AS-Level Further Maths, in which I achieved a Grade A. Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a real passion for both the foundations and the more advanced areas of maths, and I genuinely enjoy helping others discover the same enthusiasm and confidence in the subject.

Although I studied the Edexcel exam board, I’m confident working with students from all exam boards and will always adapt lessons to suit their specific needs and goals. My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s syllabus and focus on the topics they find most challenging or want to understand in greater depth, ensuring that every session is purposeful and engaging.

I believe the best way to learn maths is through practice and understanding. In lessons, I break down questions into clear, manageable steps, explain my reasoning in detail, and then guide students as they work through similar problems. I always provide extra practice questions at the end of each session to help reinforce learning and build lasting confidence.

Helping students grow in confidence and start to enjoy maths as much as I do is what I find most rewarding. I’ve supported several of my peers in preparing for their GCSE exams, helping them tackle tricky topics, improve their problem-solving skills, and feel proud of their progress. My aim as a tutor is to make maths feel approachable, achievable, and genuinely enjoyable for every student I teach.
