Each students lessons are tailor-made to suit their needs and abilities, preferred learning style and target language. I have experience creating lessons for Specialist Languages, such as for tourism, or conducting business. I use a variety of teaching methods that assure new vocabulary and knowledge is acquired from each lesson. Focus can be given to improve pronunciation (British English) and knowledge about British culture.

I always keep a friendly atmosphere and I accompany the student in their journey to improving their English skills. It helps knowing that there is somebody there to confide in with any doubts you may have.

Students can enjoy learning through activities that focus on understanding the language and making personal notes, without the need for lots of reading and writing involved in every lesson. By doing so, we can make the most of lesson time.

Some examples of activities include playing games, listening to songs, role-play and using real-life situations. I believe it is important for students to be exposed to authentic material (eg. songs, videos, newspaper articles) as much as possible to help acquire new language. There are always lots of opportunities to practise speaking and listening in every lesson.

Students receive frequent feedback so that they can understand their strengths and what they still need to focus on in order to improve their language skills. As students become more comfortable during lessons they will be more confident in practising elsewhere, too. This encourages the language learning process and students can use lessons as an aid to learning, rather than relying only on our lessons to learn English.
