I have experience with basic mathematics and enjoy helping younger students improve their understanding and confidence. I am comfortable explaining topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, times tables, fractions, decimals, simple percentages, measurements, shapes, and basic problem-solving. I can explain questions step by step and adapt my teaching to each student’s level, making lessons friendly, clear, and enjoyable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I am patient and willing to explain a topic in different ways until the student feels comfortable with it. I can help students practise their skills, complete homework, revise for school tests, and improve areas where they may need extra support. I encourage students to ask questions whenever they are unsure about something because I believe that asking questions is an important part of learning. My aim is to make mathematics feel less stressful and more enjoyable while helping students develop stronger skills and confidence. I can create simple practice questions and activities based on the student's ability and focus on the areas where they need the most support. I also like to make lessons interactive rather than simply giving students answers, so they can learn how to work things out independently. I am especially interested in helping primary-school students with their everyday maths and building a strong foundation for their future education. I can support students with topics they learn at school and give them additional practice in a relaxed environment. I believe that making mistakes is a normal part of learning, and I would always encourage students to keep trying rather than feel discouraged. I want every lesson to feel comfortable, positive, and encouraging, allowing students to learn at their own pace without feeling pressured. I will do my best to listen to each student, understand what they find difficult, and provide explanations that are easy to follow. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answers but also to help them understand why an answer is correct. I hope to help younger students become more confident in mathematics and develop skills that they can use both inside and outside the classroom.
