Hello! I’m Melodie, educated to BA and MA level in Politics and Law, and currently completing my Level 5 TEFL Diploma.

I have extensive experience tutoring children and young adults both in person and online. My teaching style is casual and conversational, as I believe real life communication and natural dialogue are the most effective ways to build confidence and fluency

With 6 years in government and public sector roles, I specialise in clear, effective writing and speaking; from political and legal papers to academic projects for international students.

I’m passionate about creating engaging, fun lessons that improve language skills while building confidence and curiosity. Outside of teaching, I’m a social media creator, foodie, and avid traveller who loves making videos online!

My teaching approach is fun and conversational and the tools I use are bespoke for each class or 1:1 depending on what they enjoy and what works best.

I believe enjoyment is key to effective learning. I create a relaxed, engaging environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves, make mistakes, and grow in confidence.

Lessons are interactive and personalised, blending grammar and vocabulary with real life conversation, role-play, and topics that spark interest.
