About my lessons:

All of my lessons are conducted via Zoom and every lesson is built around you and your goals. Whether you’re aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams, sharpen your professional communication, or simply feel more confident using English, my sessions are designed to give you the tools and strategies you need to succeed.

We’ll start each lesson by reviewing your current work and identifying key areas to focus on. From there, we’ll set clear objectives so you know exactly what we’ll achieve together. Lessons are always interactive—I break down complex ideas into simple, practical steps, using real-life examples and strategies that make learning engaging and memorable.

Active participation is central to my approach. You’ll practice, explain your thinking, and ask questions throughout the session, rather than just listening passively. To keep you on track, I include short “checkpoints” such as quick exercises, problem-solving tasks, or discussion prompts to make sure you’ve fully grasped the material before moving forward.

Before wrapping up, I’ll summarize the key takeaways, highlight your progress, and set practical next steps for independent study. When needed, I provide additional resources—like worksheets, exam strategies, or personalized revision tips—so you can keep building skills outside of our sessions.

About me:

I am currently a Postgraduate student studying MA Korean Studies and Intensive Language at SOAS, as well as being TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified, with experience working as an ESL Teacher online for 6 months. I also have 5 years of experience as a professional English tutor for ages 9-14 years old, alongside GCSE and A-Level studies, with all of my students moving on to finding success in both academics and their motivations for learning.

As someone who loves teaching, I strive to help my students understand why studying is so important and how they can use what they learned to take that one step closer to the future that they dream of.
