Hi my name is Melissa and I am a young passionate English tutor, trying to make learning fun and accessible to everyone, no matter their learning styles .
My teaching methods are very modern and focused on allowing the student to talk more and ask more questions to allow for understanding and repetition which increases their learning ability and skills.
I can speak English and Afrikaans fluently.
I will use an online meeting application like Zoom, Teams or Skype where I will also present slides and have interactive activities to do during the lesson.
I have a TEFL certification and a college diploma in an IT related field. I am dedicated and passionate and will do what I can to ensure you make progress and reach your learning goals, whether that be learning English, improving your English or learning new vocabulary. I am also very good with children and have been around many children my whole life.
I am willing to make lessons customized to your needs and learning goals and even learning methods. Some of us are more visual learners and some of us are practical learners and I can tweak my lessons to ensure you learn at your most ideal way(that may be more slide based lessons or activity based lessons based on your needs) .
Learning should always be FUN and personalized to fit your needs while also being structured and focused on growth.
