Where possible, using physical resources to demonstrate maths concepts are highly successful and help as a stimulus.
I try to keep the language simple and/or to make references to regular daily activities to get more difficult concepts across.
Lessons are broken down into starter activities, main teaching point(s) and application to test understanding.
Resources used are a mix of familiar paper...

I try to keep the language simple and/or to make references to regular daily activities to get more difficult concepts across.
Lessons are broken down into starter activities, main teaching point(s) and application to test understanding.
Resources used are a mix of familiar paper questions, videos, powerpoints and the obvious Q&A.
Overall, I am very approachable, patient and understanding of a student's current subject level; I have a proven track record of guiding them to where they want/need to be.
