Education plays a crucial role in the society. Every people are the unique individuals who have different potentials and abilities for contributing the world. The role of teachers is to give the key to students and allow them to use this key and find their potentials and knowledge. I am passionate with teaching not only because it is to foster learning academically, but also socially.

Learning in an interactive way
We cannot add an ‘equal’ sign between what teachers teach and what students can learn. Therefore, teachers have the responsibility to improve the effectiveness of teaching. I encourage learning by creating stimulating atmosphere in classrooms. I will give more role-plays, case studies and discussions in class that help stimulate students to think critically and express their ideas presentably. These are the important skills for avoiding my students in becoming a robot and learn how to respect other people’s opinions and hence challenge those ideas with courage.

Learning in a classroom community
Sunshine is not the only element to grow up a tree. It still needs oxygen and fertile soils. This is the same case for equipping a student for future study and career. Teachers are not the only factor in cultivating students. I believe that the relationship between students and teachers also matters. My classroom will be a caring and relaxing environment that allows students to develop. I will create a classroom community with positive discipline and democratic principles which increases their sense of responsibility as a member of class.

Learning in a lifelong process
Classroom is undoubtedly a place for learning. The most important idea I hope to impart my students is that the learning process never ends. I will initiate students to find the answer rather than give it to them directly. I will present the concepts by quoting daily life examples so as to arouse their interests in learning. I will also incorporate themes, group work and mini-project. I hope my students can become active learners and understand learning can be everywhere.

Finally, there is no a best way to teach, instead, the most suitable way. As a teacher, I will experiment different methods to demonstrate information to class.
