Meghna Ghoshray

I have had professional experience in tutoring children from primary school to GCSEs, in Maths, English, Biology and Chemistry. All of my students have shown improvements in not only their grades, but also their confidence and understanding of the subject content. I target my teaching style to what suits the student, letting them take the lead with practise questions and past papers whilst I support their learning.

I'm currently a final year undergraduate at Imperial College London, expected to graduate with a first class honours in Biomedical sciences. I'm passionate about science and maths within areas of my own interests, but also passionate about teaching, and am keen to encourage younger students to push themselves more.

Having been a tutor professionally before, I have learned how to best engage my students in lessons, so that they can gain confidence in their learning, whilst remaining interested in the subject matter. I cater my lessons timing, content and dynamic depending on what the student can handle, and use the first free lesson to build a friendly environment. I have had multitudes of experience in volunteering in primary to secondary school lessons, and so I am experienced in connecting with students so that they feel comfortable to tell me where they're struggling.

If the parent prefers, I can also provide updates on the student (weekly or monthly, depending on preferences) so that they can stay familiar with their progress, and also make sure the student is keeping on top of their independent work.

My lessons are online only, after working hours (9-5) but I'm flexible with scheduling.
