About me

I like to tailor my sessions to what the individual prefers. My usual approach is to introduce a subject matter, give an example of how to perform the calculations and then give the student a go. I then gradually increase the difficulty levels, ensuring to provide guidance along the way.

I like to tailor my sessions to what the individual prefers. My usual approach is to introduce a subject matter, give an example of how to perform the calculations and then give the student a go. I then gradually increase the difficulty levels, ensuring to provide guidance along the way.

An essential part of learning and improving mathematical skills is to practise until it becomes second nature, so I like to give the student a short question sheet to complete before our next session to really hone in on their skills.

I have been tutoring for 8 years and have helped pupils achieve their targeted grades. I also have a BSc in mathematics from the University of Bristol and I acquired all A*s at GCSE and A level.
