I hold one-on-one private tutoring sessions. I use Google Meets as a form of online tutoring, as I live in South Africa (no need to worry about the time difference though!), and I tutor many of my students online, and we work through general language tips, essay writing and past papers.

I adjust my content according to the learning style of the student. I also take time to get to know the student and build a relationship with them, in order to determine what the best course of action is for improving their English ability and marks. As mentioned, I spend a lot of time focusing on essay writing, as that is where most students struggle when it comes to English language. With me, I will ensure that we nail essay writing and polish any grammatical or language related issues that the student faces. Furthermore, I delve deep into past papers, to unpack what a student can expect in an exam setting.

All of my students achieve fantastic results, most of them even receive distinctions! I am extremely passionate about what I teach, and I am pursuing a postgraduate degree in English. Having a passionate, caring and understanding tutor is what makes a student love their subject, and that is what I want to be for all of my students.

I have been tutoring for 3 years, and have received wonderful feedback from students and parents alike. I want to help all of my students learn to love the language of English!
