My lessons are supportive, personalised, and designed to help students grow both academically and personally in a comfortable and encouraging environment. I understand that every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my approach based on each student’s personality, goals, confidence level, and learning style.
I aim to create lessons where students feel safe asking questions, expressing themselves openly, and making mistakes without feeling judged or pressured. I believe confidence and emotional support play a very important role in learning and academic performance, especially for students who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unmotivated.
Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may focus on study support, organisation, confidence-building, communication skills, goal-setting, motivation, and developing healthier learning habits and routines. I also enjoy helping students break larger goals into smaller, more manageable steps so they feel less intimidated and more capable of progressing consistently.
My background in psychology, linguistics, education, tutoring, and learner support has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and emotional awareness when working with students. I have experience supporting learners through teaching practicals, tutoring, au pair work, and educational support roles, which has taught me the importance of creating positive and student-centred learning experiences.
I also believe learning should feel collaborative rather than intimidating, and I try to build genuine connections with students so they feel understood, supported, and more confident in their personal and academic growth. Overall, I want my lessons to feel supportive, motivating, and genuinely helpful, while encouraging students to feel more confident in themselves and their abilities over time.
