My lessons are designed to make Physics and Mathematics feel less intimidating and far more intuitive, interactive, and engaging for students. As a Teach For India Fellow, I have spent the last two years teaching Grade 9 students in a diverse and high-challenge classroom environment in Delhi, India, which taught me how to adapt lessons for different learning styles, confidence levels, and academic needs.

I strongly believe students learn best when they understand the logic behind concepts rather than memorising formulas mechanically. Because of this, my classes focus heavily on conceptual clarity, discussion, and real-world application. I often use everyday examples, visual explanations, guided questioning, and problem-solving techniques to help students connect abstract ideas with situations they already observe around them. Whether it is understanding motion through daily travel experiences or force through sports and everyday objects, I try to make learning feel relevant and approachable.

My lessons are structured yet flexible. I usually begin by identifying the student’s current understanding and areas of difficulty, then gradually build concepts step-by-step before moving towards application-based questions and exam preparation. I encourage students to ask questions freely and treat mistakes as an important part of learning.

Alongside subject knowledge, I also focus on building confidence and analytical thinking skills, especially for students who may feel anxious about Science or Mathematics. My goal is not only to help students perform better academically, but also to help them become more curious, independent, and confident learners over time.
