About me

Lessons delivered virtually with access to all resources required for live teaching and at home practice provided.

I have previous experience teaching English from ks1-Alevel across a number of major uk exam boards. I have also worked for an international English language summer school and worked as part of a team tutoring English as an additional language.

Lessons delivered virtually with access to all resources required for live teaching and at home practice provided.

I have previous experience teaching English from ks1-Alevel across a number of major uk exam boards. I have also worked for an international English language summer school and worked as part of a team tutoring English as an additional language.

Lesson style is student focused developing on already present knowledge and skill, in order to develop both independence and confidence.

Lessons usually follow three elements:
- retrieval practice of previously learnt content
- introduction to new content building upon previous lessons
- practice of new content

Lessons are structured and influenced by teaching and learning initiatives. As a fully qualified teacher I develop lessons on proven cognitive methods that guarantee student success.

Mayessa is helpful, supportive and patient. The main things you want out of a tutor. Everything is clear and precise. Upholds a great level of professionalism, but does not make me feel under pressure. I highly recommend to hire Mayessa as your tutor, you knowledge will most definitely exceed.
