I always find that active recall is one of the best methods of studying. As for teaching, it’s always important to approach the student with patience and a willingness to create a wonderful English speaking individual. The content would base around whatever the student is needed exactly help with, whether it be learning English for a new job, for a trip abroad, or for indeed a brand new language that they want to acquire. Each need comes with a different set of provided learning activities, including mostly conversations with the tutor (me!) as that is the most foolproof method to actually learning and remembering English, rather than just relying on memorization.
