Hi! My name is Maya and I am studying English language and linguistics at the University of Warwick. I have 4 years experience in tutoring both English and Maths to a range of ages and I can offer tailored lessons in English. Our working relationship will be relaxed and I am happy to be available via email for any help outside of lessons.
I would offer online lessons via teams where I will be able to discuss your needs and goals for English. From here I will create targeted lessons via powerpoint as well as work sheets for practice. If you need help in a specific area, such as school work, I would be happy to help you work through it and work on techniques for revision and essay work.
Our lessons can follow the structure that best suits you, if you work well under a strict structure or a relaxed environment then I am happy to accommodate.
Having studied English at GCSE and A-level and achieving A* in both, I will be able to provide insight into the subjects from my own experiences as well as innovative ways to tackle issues you may face. What ever level you are currently working at, we will be able to work together to achieve your targets. I will be available via email for any questions from my students and if requested I can provide further work for practice outside of our lessons.
I have a very flexible schedule and would be able to accommodate to school or work timings if necessary!
