Imperial College London Physics student wanting to teach Maths including Primary school, KS3 and GCSE. Achieved 9 in Maths GCSE, A* in Maths and Further Maths A Level. My lessons will begin with assessing what content has been covered for the student's specific exam board, for those studying for exams, and making a plan to cover the remaining content and fill gaps in learning and understanding. We can plan when to finish content and leave room for exam practice. I enjoy helping students in areas they feel they are struggling in. My lessons will be delivered online with an interactive whiteboard so the student and I can see the working out and I can show them step by step how to work through each problem.

I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's pace and goals. I believe that confidence in maths grows from truly understanding the 'why behind each concept, not just memorising methods. During lessons, I'll encourage students to ask questions and think aloud so we can address misunderstandings immediately. I also like to integrate exam-style questions early on to build familiarity with how topics are tested and develop problem-solving skills. Homework or short follow-up tasks can be provided if desired to reinforce progress between sessions. Whether the goal is exam preparation, boosting confidence, or improving grades, I’ll create a structured, motivating, and supportive environment that encourages steady progress and lasting understanding. I’m passionate about helping students realise their potential, build mathematical intuition, and approach challenges with curiosity and confidence throughout their learning journey.
