My lessons will first begin with me asking the student what they have done in school the past week or if there is anything they are struggling with and wanted help on. I will then proceed to go into the theory of that topic with clarity and detail. After this we'll move onto practice questions from their respective exam board. For me doing practice questions in mathematics is imperative in unlocking someone's true mathematic potential. It is how I started truly exelling in mathematics and subsequentally ended up at Imperial College London studying there. At the end of the lesson, I will send more questions from that topic to the student to solidify their understanding of it, think off it as extra homework. These will then be talked about the start of the next lesson before moving/ carrying on to a new topic.
I have tutored struggling GCSE students before whilst I was in sixth form. This was my first bit of teaching and I loved it, being able to help people on something I am gifted in was a lovely experience and I wish to carry that on now.
As you can probably tell I am very passionate for the subject so in my lessons you will see a lot of enthusiasm and liveliness to make the lesson as enjoyable as possible. In addition to this I am super friendly and approachable so they can come to me with any problems they may have and I can assist them in resolving them.
