Lastly, providing regular feedback is vital so as not only didactic but motivating too: I employ formative assessment techniques such as giving quizzes after each topic covered before moving on next topic; monitoring class discussions/participations; one-on-one sessions for personalized attention where needed for extra support; Just so they know exactly what they need improve upon and gain confidence along the way.
