My lessons are warm, structured, and fully personalised to each student’s needs. I begin every tutoring journey by identifying the areas a student finds most challenging, whether that’s grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, or overall confidence. From there, I design clear, engaging lesson plans that break topics down into simple, manageable steps. Because I’ve taught pupils aged 6–12, my sessions are interactive and dynamic — I use explanations, guided practice, reading activities, and confidence-building exercises to keep students motivated and involved. I always create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
Communication is a big part of my teaching style. My experience in hospitality has strengthened my ability to connect with people quickly, explain things clearly, and stay patient and positive even when a student is struggling. I also keep parents updated with regular progress reports so they can see exactly how their child is improving.
Organisation and reliability are central to how I work. Managing my own tutoring schedule has taught me to plan lessons carefully, stay consistent, and adapt sessions when a student needs extra support or a new challenge. My background as a Biochemistry undergraduate also helps me bring strong analytical skills to my teaching — I’m able to spot patterns in a student’s learning, identify what’s holding them back, and adjust my approach to help them progress faster.
