I like to work at a conversational level. Not by stubborn textbooks, but talking how real people do. Helping you to learn the language in the most natural way possible. While textbooks are important, there’s a very significant difference between the way someone speaks in a textbook, and the way someone will speak in daily life. A textbook will never touch on slang and shortenings. I can help you reach your fluency goal, whether that’s by passing an exam, or speaking like a native, I’ll help you get there.

In each lesson, I’ll pick a theme for us to centre around, and we’ll spend the time focusing around it. Learning a range of vocabulary to do with this topic, so that once our lesson is over you’re ready for conversation.

I’ve casually taught advanced English to others over the years, but never officially. I think the best way to know a language is through its etymology. Knowing the roots of words and where they come from can do miles for your competency and fluency of a language. I can teach from any level, whether that’s from the ground up, or those with prior experience, and assist you in causing your linguistic ability to flourish.
