My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and completely tailored to the needs of each student. I always begin by understanding your goals - whether that’s building confidence in the basics, preparing for an exam, or simply developing a deeper curiosity and passion for geography. From there, I plan sessions that focus on the areas where you’ll benefit most and make steady progress.

Lessons usually include a mix of explanation, discussion, and practice, so students stay actively involved in their own learning. I use visual resources, case studies, and real-world examples to make topics easier to understand and more memorable. With my background in land and water quality consulting, I can connect classroom learning to real environmental challenges, from rivers and coasts to sustainability, climate change, and urban growth. This helps students see why geography matters, not just for exams, but also for making sense of the world we live in today.

For younger learners, I keep sessions fun and interactive, encouraging curiosity and building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I provide structured support with syllabus content, past paper practice, revision techniques, and exam strategies, breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and boosting confidence.

My teaching style is approachable, clear, and supportive, with plenty of encouragement along the way. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, motivated, and able to track their progress. Whether the aim is top grades, improved understanding, or sparking a lasting love of geography, I make sure lessons are personal, effective, and rewarding.
