My teaching methods will preferably be in person using simply; paper, pens, whiteboards and online videos I believe could be helpful. With mathematics I believe a lot of powerpoint presentations can be very boring and difficult to learn from and take in the information. I prefer talking and interacting with students and working out how your brain works and how you personally understand maths. When this is identified we will highlight the easiest topics you are struggling with to the very hardest. Then we will work our way up from easiest to hardest and we wont proceed on to the harder topic until you're a pro at the current one. I will first ask you to answer a range of questions from the topic and watch how you would go about working out the question. This will then give me a good understanding of how your brain works with that type of maths, as well as how you have been taught in your own school. This will then allow me to use everything I have learnt about you and your way of thinking to teach you the best way I can to master the topic. These teachings for working out and ways of thinking might be completely different to what your teachers have taught you. As a good thing about maths is there is always many different ways to get to your answer, but the bad thing is most teachers in schools have their own way and try and teach everybody that specific way, which I massively disagree with.
All in all I will try my hardest to understand you and help you in the best way for you. All I ask in return is patience, hard work and an open mind and you will breeze through your maths exams.
