I am a recently retired university professor with over 30 years’ experience teaching psychology classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Among the many classes I taught were: Introductory Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Sensation and Perception, Psychology of Middle Childhood, History of Psychology, and Evolutionary Psychology. In addition to in-person instruction, for nearly a decade I have taught a 100% online course for the University of Colorado (Colorado Springs) in their cognitive archaeology program. Furthermore, the recent Covid outbreak required converting all my on-campus classes to online classes where both lectures and tests were provided online to students. The Psychology Department at my former university offered a terminal MA degree with a thesis requirement. Thus, I have extensive experience serving on and chairing thesis committees as well as guiding students through thesis research. My strength in teaching is in taking complicated concepts and making them understandable by using common-sense, real world examples.
