When I am first introduced to the student I like to get to know which level they are at and ask about previous test grades. So I focus on his difficulties more to tackle the obstacles, and in turn help achieve the grade they desire. Using this knowledge I will make a plan and go through the curriculum for that course, I prepare lessons on each segment and look through previous tests to see how questions are answered. I also encourage the student to do questions in their own time to create familiarity with the question type and I recommend students to look at marking instructions to clearly understand why questions are answered the way they are. Depending on the level of the student the pace of lessons will differ, and I accommodate students of all levels to bridge the gap between this pacing. I've had experience tutoring in different subjects before, and my students have all benefitted from my teaching. One of my students initially started with a D before our teaching sessions, to an A in his final exam as time progressed. My teaching style is very informative and I have patience with my students, and explain things thoroughly and calmly, as I know not everything is quick and easy to understand. I will make sure they understand everything clearly before moving on to the next with questions and testing. I hope that through all my methods of teaching I will be able to provide an efficient and comfortable way for students to achieve success.
