I find that studying literature and articles allows English to be understood due to the writing styles and fluency of language. It is important to engage with a potential student and understand how they learn best, therefore after a first session of understanding what teaching/learning methods work best for the student then adapting lessons to tailor to these needs.

As a native speaker, I was taught from a young age of tenses and grammar and therefore understand the difficulties of learning from ‘the start’. I believe that it is important to learn the absolute basic rules before applying. This approach is taught to children in schools and is a traditional method with any language, to divulge into the subject. I write professional essays for my degree and can help with writing skills as well as speaking and reading.
