Whether I teach you online or in person, my lessons always follow a well-structured and engaging format. We begin with a starter activity — something slightly challenging for your level — designed to get your brain active and ready to learn. This is followed by the main lesson, where I break down the topic in a clear and simple way, adapting my teaching style to suit your needs. We then move on to a worksheet or activity to help you apply what you’ve learned through practice.

To finish, we usually play a short game to make sure the learning sticks in a fun way, or tackle a few more challenging questions to stretch your thinking. I aim to make each session feel productive, supportive, and enjoyable.

I’ve been tutoring primary school children for over two years, with experience supporting students in both KS1 and KS2. I've helped several students prepare for the 11+ entrance exams and supported one of my pupils through their SATs with tailored revision and confidence-building strategies. Watching them grow in ability and belief in themselves has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I also like to keep things organised — so I’ll send you a fresh notebook, pens, and pencils if you need them. That way, you’ll have a dedicated set of tools for tuition, which helps track your progress over time.
