Hello! I’m Maryam, and I’m passionate about helping students develop their confidence and understanding in maths. I offer friendly, personalised maths tutoring for students aged 6–15, with lessons adapted to suit each student’s individual ability, learning style and goals.

My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging and easy to follow. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify areas they find challenging and explain topics in a clear and straightforward way. Rather than simply giving students the answers, I encourage them to work through problems themselves so they can develop their understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence.

Lessons can focus on a range of areas, including schoolwork, homework support, practising specific maths topics, preparing for tests and strengthening areas where a student may need extra help. I can also provide additional questions and practice activities to help reinforce what has been covered during the lesson.

I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, and my goal is to help students feel that maths is something they can understand and improve at, rather than something they should feel anxious about.

Whether your child needs a little extra support or simply wants to build their confidence and skills, I will provide patient, encouraging and personalised lessons tailored to their needs. I want every student to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something new and are one step closer to reaching their goals.
