Hello there, music enthusiasts and aspiring pianists!
My name is Mary, and I am a professional pianist and piano teacher. I have been teaching for over 8 years now and my students are of all levels and ages.

Alongside piano teaching and performance, I am also a registered Music Psychotherapist and qualified Neurologic Music Therapist. And I specialise in working with adults, children and young people.

My teaching philosophy centers around two key principles: nurturing students' musicality and fostering a strong foundation in piano fundamentals. I firmly believe that when students connect with the emotional and expressive aspects of music, they not only enjoy the learning process but also excel in their musical journey. Therefore, I strive to instill a deep appreciation for the art of playing the piano, guiding my students to find their unique musical voice.

My class lasts between 30-60 mins depending on your age and level.

I don't want my students to only practise exam pieces so I also emphasize on foundation building and basics.

Beyond the technical aspects, I also emphasize the importance of disciplined practice and perseverance. Learning to play the piano is a rewarding yet challenging endeavor, and I am there to support my students through both the triumphs and the hurdles.

I will suggest some books for you as practice materials and you are also welcomed to choose whatever songs you like to play regardless of your genres.
