The lessons are tailored to fit the student's needs, whether it is improving your confidence, wanting to cover tricky topics or aiming for a high grade.
The structure of the lesson will include a warm up question, to allow you to retrieve previously learnt knowledge. I will model questions, quiz you for your understanding and go through exam questions.

I am to make the lessons as engaging as possible, as having students ask and answer questions, deepens their understanding of topics.

As a student myself, I first hand have experienced different ways of teaching and understand that the best way of teaching is to encourage and motivate young people to actively think and seek out the answer for themselves.

My online lessons will be on google classroom; a typical lesson will last for 45 minutes.
I have experience working with younger pupils of all ages, but more importantly students of all abilities and therefore my lessons are suitable for everyone.

A lot of people may dislike maths because it is seen as too difficult and time-consuming. Most of the time it is because they haven't been taught to understand the subject, only to memorise mathematical methods. Therefore I believe people can grow a fondness for the subject, once they have truly begun to understand it.

Maths is a very core subject that is really helpful to be good at, whether it is in STEM based subjects or even daily life, and so I believe students should learn the basics of Maths in GCSE even if they do not want to study it furth.
