Martyna Wojcik

Hi, I’m Martyna, a qualified primary teacher offering personalised online lessons in reading, writing and maths for primary-aged children.

My lessons combine clear explanations, interactive activities and guided practice. I take time to understand each child’s strengths and areas for development, then adapt the pace and activities to suit them. Children are encouraged to ask questions, try different approaches and build confidence without feeling pressured. I can help reinforce school learning, work through tricky topics or strengthen core literacy and numeracy skills.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Strathclyde and have experience teaching in Renfrewshire primary schools and providing online tuition. I have also taught children with high additional support needs in a specialised learning environment, developing a patient and flexible approach.

A typical lesson begins with a short recap or warm-up to find out what your child remembers and how confident they feel. We then explore a focused topic together, using examples, discussion and activities before moving towards more independent practice. I check understanding throughout and finish by reviewing what we have learned.

For literacy, lessons can focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, sentence structure and writing. For maths, we can work on number skills, calculations, fractions and problem-solving. Activities are chosen to suit your child’s stage, interests and goals, with opportunities to revisit anything that needs more practice.

I aim to make lessons welcoming, purposeful and engaging, with regular feedback to parents about progress and next steps. I am fluent in English and Polish and can communicate with families in either language.
