Martin Adegbola Traore

I am a Software Engineering student currently completing a Sandwich Placement Year, where I am gaining real experience in software development, testing, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving. I enjoy technology and I am passionate about helping students understand coding in a simple, clear, and practical way.

My lessons are aimed at beginners and young learners who want to build confidence in coding, game design, AI, and general technology skills. I understand that every student learns differently, so I will adapt my teaching style to their level, pace, and confidence. My aim is to make each lesson friendly, supportive, and easy to follow.

In my lessons, I will use a step-by-step approach. I will start by explaining the topic in simple language, then demonstrate examples, and then allow the student to practise with guidance. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved, so I will include practical tasks, small projects, problem-solving activities, and interactive examples. For coding and game design lessons, this could include creating simple games, understanding programming logic, fixing errors, or improving a project gradually.

I have experience with programming and software tools such as Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Git, Jira, and testing processes. My placement year has also helped me develop strong communication, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical problems clearly.

I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them. My goal is not only to help them complete tasks, but also to help them understand how coding works and become more confident using technology.
